The 'Rail Baltica' project's continued development is scheduled to occur in a second phase post-2030, necessitating careful evaluation and project management in the interim. As a position of significant national infrastructure, the project also faces scrutiny over financial decisions, particularly after recent reports indicated that a potential contractor was excluded from bidding due to their significantly lower offer by 270 million euros in the procurement process.
