In past performances, three assistants utilized leaf blowers to make Lampeniuksen's hair and dress flutter dramatically, with the assistants, referred to as 'ninjas,' dressed in all black. According to UMK producer Matti Myllyaho, the use of these blowers enhances the performance by synchronizing the movement of the hair with the rhythm of the music, thereby adding an element of drama to the overall presentation.

This attention to detail is evident in a 30-page guide that the Yle UMK team has sent to EuroVision organizers in Austria, outlining how the entire performance should be executed and filmed.
