A new show about entrepreneurship "Uprising" on Latvian Public Media
A new television program called "Uprising" will focus on innovative Latvian entrepreneurs, showcasing their journeys and experiences in the international market and EU support programs.
Latvian Public Media is launching a new show titled "Uprising," which aims to highlight the achievements of daring Latvian entrepreneurs who are developing innovative ideas and seeking to establish their place in international markets. The series will feature conversations with 20 prominent entrepreneurs from various sectors, discussing their business journeys, including successes, competitiveness, export strategies, and the painful mistakes that have often become their most valuable lessons. This initiative aims to provide insights into the real-life implications of EU support programs.
Andris Kužnieks, the head of the European Commission's representation, underscores the importance of these programs, stating that the true significance is best revealed through the experiences of entrepreneurs who have bravely pursued their ideas, secured funding, and achieved results. The series serves as evidence that the opportunities presented by the EU are not merely abstract promises but can be a genuine launching pad for growth and success in the business world.
The show will feature guests such as business strategist Anna Celmiņa and actor Gatis Gāga, who will approach entrepreneurship from different perspectives. This diverse viewpoint aims to enrich the discussions and inspire viewers by sharing the stories of those who have turned their entrepreneurial dreams into reality. By showcasing these journeys, the program hopes to motivate other aspiring entrepreneurs in Latvia and foster a spirit of innovation and determination among the local business community.
