Two men are in custody until April 1 in relation to the murder case of a 68-year-old man found dead in Christiansfeld.

Two men have been remanded in custody until April 1 in connection with the murder case involving a 68-year-old man, who was discovered dead in Christiansfeld. The South East Jutland Police report that a total of six individuals have been charged in the case, all of whom denied guilt during a preliminary investigation presented today. This incident has raised concerns about violence and crime in the area, particularly involving residential break-ins.

The police believe that three out of the six suspects entered the home of the deceased man, where he was stabbed in the neck and subjected to violence. Among those under custody, one individual, a 25-year-old man, is suspected of murder, while a 35-year-old man is alleged to be an accomplice to the crime. Furthermore, three others, including two women aged 19 and 52, along with a 61-year-old man, will remain in custody for an additional three days, allowing police more time to conduct their investigation.

Authorities also indicated that there could be at least two more accomplices still at large, adding to the urgency of the ongoing inquiry into this grim incident. The police are focused on uncovering more details surrounding the murder and apprehending additional suspects, highlighting a pressing need for law enforcement in maintaining public safety and addressing community concerns regarding violent crimes.
