[Healing and Accompaniment] Korean Oganon Holds Women's Health Campaign for the 5th Year in Celebration of International Women's Day

Korean Oganon continues its 'Walk for Her Health' campaign for the fifth consecutive year to promote women's health in recognition of International Women's Day on March 8.

Korean Oganon has been conducting the 'Walk for Her Health' campaign since 2019, aimed at celebrating International Women's Day on March 8. The campaign's objective is to enhance societal awareness of women's health by encouraging practical and sustainable health habits. During the month-long campaign starting on March 5, participants can donate their daily steps through the 'Big Walk' app, with the goal of accumulating funds to support vulnerable women’s health sectors. The initiative connects everyday health practices with broader societal changes, highlighting the significance of women’s empowerment through health.

This year’s theme for the campaign, 'Her Health, Her Power,' aligns with a global message that emphasizes the interconnection between women’s health and the wellbeing of families and communities. Korean Oganon intends to provide comprehensive information that empowers participants to better understand and implement health practices related to women's lifecycles, including guidance on contraception, infertility prevention, menopause management, and chronic disease prevention. This approach aims to cultivate an environment where personal health practices contribute to collective societal progress.

In the previous year's campaign, over 12,000 participants, including employees of Korean Oganon, successfully reached the campaign's walking goals, resulting in significant donations to support crisis-pregnancy families through organizations like the Be to Be Association and the Korea Unmarried Mother Support Network. These funds assist families in managing healthcare, postpartum recovery, housing, and overall well-being. CEO Kim So-eun underscores the importance of women's health in ensuring the sustainable development of society, especially in the context of low birth rates and an aging population, reinforcing the campaign's underlying social mission.
