Restriction on 600 meters of Narcisa de Jesús Avenue due to works: here are the closing hours
There will be a 600-meter restriction on Narcisa de Jesús Avenue for construction work, coordinating traffic management to ensure smooth flow.
The Agency of Transit and Mobility (ATM) of Ecuador is coordinating vehicle mobility along a stretch of Narcisa de Jesús Avenue, specifically in the El Limonal area, due to ongoing inspections and groundwater-level monitoring related to public works. These activities are part of geometrical redesign efforts being carried out by the Public Works Directorate. The interventions will lead to partial lane closures, impacting traffic flow in that area.
The scope of the project includes a 600-meter restriction on the avenue extending from Terminal Terrestre toward Pascuales, affected by the connection to the Avenue of Las Américas and the ascent to the bridge leading to Samborondón. The planned interruption will begin at 07:00 on Tuesday, March 10, when safety devices such as plastic jersey barriers will be installed to guide traffic safely around construction zones. The work is expected to last until March 11, with the reopened road scheduled for 20:00.
Such roadway interventions can significantly affect traffic patterns, especially during peak hours, and it's crucial for drivers to plan accordingly. The ATM has put forward this schedule as a measure to minimize disruption while executing essential urban infrastructure improvements. Therefore, effective communication to motorists about the changes and continued monitoring of the traffic conditions will be vital during this period.
