In Cubatão, São Paulo, a 23-year-old transvestite has been arrested for allegedly participating in a criminal gang involved in extorting money from victims under the pretense of a romantic encounter. The case revolves around a 52-year-old man who fell prey to this 'love scam' after hiring a sex worker, who subsequently demanded R$ 7 thousand in exchange for her silence about his marital status.
