In response to escalating tensions and military actions initiated on February 28 by the US and Israel against Iran, Poland's government has organized extensive evacuation efforts for Polish citizens stranded in the Middle East. A total of 32 flights have been arranged by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in coordination with other governmental bodies, to facilitate the safe return of its citizens affected by the crisis.

As of now, more than 6,058 individuals have successfully been evacuated from countries across the region, utilizing military aircraft and commercial flights operated by Polish Airlines LOT. The Polish government is actively planning additional flights to continue this operation, with scheduled departures from locations such as Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, indicating a systematic approach to ensure all citizens can return home safely amidst volatile circumstances.

These ongoing evacuation operations highlight Poland's commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of its citizens abroad, particularly in crisis situations.
