Following a request from the Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, national airline airBaltic, in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport, plans to execute an additional repatriation flight from Dubai (United Arab Emirates) to Riga. This flight aims to assist Latvian citizens affected by the ongoing situation in the Middle East to return home. The fourth repatriation flight, designated as BT7736, is scheduled for March 8, 2026, with a departure from Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) at 18:20 local Dubai time.
The flight to Riga will include a technical stop in Heraklion, Greece, on the island of Crete, and the expected arrival in Riga is slated for 02:40 local time on March 9. The ongoing processing of applications for repatriation flights from Dubai is currently underway, with all requests being evaluated. Passengers who are offered a seat on the flight will be contacted individually with further instructions regarding their journey back to Latvia.
