In preparation for International Women's Rights Day on March 8, Kyiv is launching a campaign that showcases the stories of four female service members with combat experience. These accounts will be featured on various platforms, including the metro and street advertising boards, aiming to raise awareness about women's roles in the armed forces. The focus of the campaign is to empower and highlight the contributions of women who serve in traditionally male-dominated roles.

Initiated by the Veteranka movement, which is dedicated to supporting Ukrainian women veterans, the "Women can do anything" campaign uses comic-style adverts to portray these women as modern-day superheroines. The campaign's messaging emphasizes that women's participation in the military is not a rare exception but rather an evolving norm in contemporary society. Through captivating visuals and personal stories, the campaign seeks to inspire a greater appreciation for the diverse roles women undertake in the military.

Among the featured stories is that of Yeva, alias Yunga (Sailor), an FPV drone operator. The campaign underscores her bravery and those of other women who fight for their country, challenging traditional perceptions and encouraging society to recognize the strength and capability of female soldiers. As the campaign unfolds, it not only honors women's rights but also contributes to the ongoing dialogue about gender equality in the military and beyond.
