"Drones" ENFIA from the AADE to 7.3 million property owners
The 2026 ENFIA bill will be mailed to approximately 7.3 million property owners in Greece, requiring a total payment of 2.3 billion euros, with the first installment due by March 31.
The Greek tax authorities are preparing to send out the ENFIA bills for the year 2026 to around 7.3 million property owners. These owners will be notified to pay a total of 2.3 billion euros, with the first installment set to be due by March 31. Under current legislation, it is expected that all notifications will be dispatched by March 10.
This year, two out of ten property owners will see that their tax burden is reduced compared to the previous year. A significant number, about one million property owners, will notice notable changes in their bills due to the implementation of new regulations that introduce various reductions, discounts, or even the complete abolition of the tax for certain categories of owners.
Particularly benefiting from these changes will be those with properties in more than 13,000 small settlements, as the new system provides favorable conditions for main residences in areas with populations of up to 1,500 residents. These adjustments are intended to alleviate the financial burden on property owners across Greece, aligning tax responsibilities more closely with real estate valuations in less populated regions.
