Project selects black women working in creative economy, music, and audiovisual in Salvador; winners receive R$ 2,500
The 'MC.Mulheres' project in Salvador is accepting applications from black women in the creative economy, music, and audiovisual sectors, offering training and cash prizes.
The 5th edition of the 'MC.Mulheres' project is currently open for applications, targeting black women professionals in Salvador who are either already active or seeking to enhance their presence in the music, audiovisual, and creative economy sectors. This initiative aims to provide both educational resources and opportunities for cultural market inclusion, recognizing the need for increased representation and support for these women in the industry.
The project's programming includes an online training session scheduled from March 16 to March 20, 2026, focusing on essential topics such as Personal Branding, Financial Management, Career Management, Mental Health, and Creativity. Following this, there will be a physical immersion experience in Salvador from April 14 to April 18, which will further empower participants through hands-on learning and networking opportunities, fostering a diverse community within the creative industries.
At the conclusion of the program, three original projects developed during the training will be awarded a prize of R$ 2,500 each. Interested participants are encouraged to submit their applications by March 9 through an online registration form, showcasing the initiative's commitment to not only educate but also financially support emerging talent from marginalized backgrounds in Brazil's cultural landscape.
