Two arrested with 'black lança' and synthetic drugs sent from other states in Roraima
Two men were arrested in Roraima for importing synthetic drugs for sale, including 'black lança' and ecstasy pills.
On Thursday (5), two men aged 28 and 33 were arrested in Boa Vista, Roraima, for the suspected importation and sale of synthetic drugs. The local police, specifically the Drug Repression Department, conducted the operation that led to the arrests and the seizure of various controlled substances, including 'black lança', ecstasy pills, cocaine, skunk, as well as mobile phones and cash linked to the suspects' activities.
These synthetic drugs were reportedly shipped from other Brazilian states, such as Santa Catarina, highlighting a significant network of drug trafficking that connects various regions. The authorities emphasize the dangers posed by 'black lança', a volatile chemical compound that acts as an inhalant, which can induce euphoria and perceptual distortions but also entails serious health risks. Health officials and law enforcement are alarmed by the increasing prevalence of such substances in the region.
The arrests are part of a broader crackdown on drug trafficking in Roraima, aiming to curb the supply of synthetic drugs. The involvement of various states in the drug supply chain raises concerns over drug policy effectiveness and the ongoing battle against drug-related crime in Brazil, prompting law enforcement to intensify their efforts in tracking down and apprehending offenders involved in such illegal activities.
