The town of Otepää is gearing up for the Biathlon World Cup stage, scheduled to take place from March 12 to 15, 2026. This event will feature fresh Olympic winners among the competitors and is expected to draw a significant crowd. Event organizers report that the courses at Tehvandi are in excellent condition with temporary grandstands already erected for spectators, offering views from multiple vantage points.
Committee chairman Aivar Nigol highlighted the expansion of the temporary grandstands compared to the previous World Cup event in 2022, emphasizing their capacity to accommodate all sports fans eager to witness the competition. He also mentioned the introduction of single-day tickets for attendees who can only participate on one day, making it easier for more fans to attend the event.
As the date approaches, the excitement builds, with notable competitions lined up, including the men's and women's sprints.
