The Estonian ice dance pair, Ksenia Sipunova and Miron Korjagin, will perform at the Junior World Figure Skating Championships in Tallinn, with hopes of advancing to the free dance round.

A live broadcast of the Junior World Figure Skating Championships is set to begin today at 16:00 on ETV2 and the ERR sports portal, showcasing the ice dance rhythm dance event. The Estonian pair, Ksenia Sipunova and Miron Korjagin, will take to the ice in the third group, performing as the 11th pair overall. This marks their third appearance at the Junior World Championships, where they placed 31st two years ago and improved to 23rd last year. This year, they aim for a strong performance with the hope of advancing beyond the rhythm dance into the free dance, which features the top 20 pairs from a total of 30.

Sipunova expressed her dreams of feeling the atmosphere of the competition: "I hope to experience this atmosphere. I would really like to! Performing very well, making it to the finals, and aiming for the top 15 would be a dream. But making it to the finals is what I hope for," she shared with ERR. The ice dance free dance event is scheduled for Saturday, where the couple will seek to demonstrate their talents on an international stage.

As the event unfolds at the Tondiraba Arena in Tallinn, this moment is significant for Sipunova and Korjagin, as they aim to make their mark at the Junior World Championships. Their previous experiences provide them with the motivation to improve and showcase their skills, representing Estonia in front of a global audience.
