On Thursday, five teenagers aged between 12 and 15 were apprehended in Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo, Brazil, for allegedly stealing from multiple retail stores in the downtown area and a prominent shopping mall. The apprehension took place after local authorities, including the Metropolitan Civil Guard (GCM) and the Military Police, received reports from store personnel about the young individuals engaging in theft.

During the authorities' intervention, the minors were found in possession of stolen items, including clothing and toys. These items were collected and handed over to the Civil Police so that the affected shop owners could identify their stolen property.
