Convicted for homicide arrested in Búzios after jumping houses and hiding in a storage room

A man convicted of qualified homicide was arrested in Búzios after evading justice since 2018 by attempting to escape across rooftops and hiding.

Gustavo Rosa da Silva, a man previously convicted for his involvement in a qualified homicide inside a school, was caught by Brazilian police in Búzios after living on the run since 2018. His arrest came about when authorities located him while he was working at a parking facility in Geribá. In a desperate bid to escape, he had jumped across three houses and ultimately hid in a cleaning supply room of one of the residences.
