Lebanon's Information Minister, Paul Marqas, stated that the Lebanese government is working on multiple fronts to address the recent Israeli aggression. He highlighted that the government's diplomatic efforts, led by the President and Prime Minister, aim to garner international support to curb the escalation. This includes engaging with Lebanese ambassadors worldwide to rally for assistance and awareness regarding the ongoing situation.

On the domestic front, the Minister revealed that a government task force has been established to address the needs of displaced individuals, emphasizing that around 500 schools have been converted into shelters accommodating approximately 100,000 displaced people. In light of the pressure on Beirut, efforts are being made to distribute these individuals to other regions to alleviate the burden on the capital. The interplay of various ministries, including health, education, and interior, is being coordinated to ensure the welfare of victims and address local municipal issues effectively.

Regarding security challenges, Minister Marqas announced that the Cabinet has decided to take measures to prevent any military activities by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard from Lebanese territory. His comments underscore the Lebanese government's commitment to maintaining national sovereignty and stability amid external pressures and highlight ongoing ministerial meetings to address urgent matters consistently.
