Promotion of exhibitions: In Vicente López, artists are called and subsidies are provided for the winners' exhibits
The municipality of Vicente López has announced the launch of Visuales 2026, inviting artists to apply for funding to showcase collective art projects.
The municipality of Vicente López in Argentina has opened registrations for Visuales 2026, a new initiative aimed at promoting visual arts in the local community. Up to three projects will be selected for collective exhibitions, which will be featured in the Casa de la Cultura, located at Ricardo Gutiérrez 1060 in the Olivos neighborhood. Each chosen project will receive a substantial incentive of ARS 3,290,000 to support production and exhibition costs.
This initiative is designed to enhance the visibility and circulation of visual arts while fostering collaboration among artists. It targets coalitions of artists and curators interested in presenting collective exhibition projects across various disciplines including painting, drawing, graphic design, engraving, photography, textile art, collage, illustration, digital printed art, comic, and mixed disciplines. To qualify, at least half of the participating artists must be from Vicente López.
By supporting local artists and curators through financial incentives and a platform for exhibiting their work, the program aims to strengthen the local arts scene and encourage greater artistic expression in Vicente López. This initiative not only nurtures talent but also enhances community engagement with the arts, making it a significant step towards a more vibrant cultural landscape.
