The Stelios Haji-Ioannou Foundation, in an effort to improve public health in small islands of Greece, has announced a significant financial commitment of €10 million over the next seven years. This initiative aims to ensure the sustained presence of 80 doctors on 47 of Greece's smallest islands, which are primarily served by Regional and Multi-purpose Medical Units that represent the most basic health care services in the country.
