This solar power facility, installed on the port's coverings, harnesses clean solar energy to meet all of the port's energy needs, substantially reducing reliance on conventional energy sources and limiting COâ‚‚ emissions by at least 480 tons annually.
With an annual production of green electricity exceeding 2,000,000 kWh, the Igoumenitsa port enhances its environmental performance and ensures more sustainable and efficient operations.
