Yousee's owner has a three-digit million deficit for the seventh year in a row

Nuuday, which owns Yousee, Telmore, and Hiper, reported a deficit of 562 million kroner for 2025, marking its seventh consecutive year in the red.

Nuuday, the telecommunications company that owns Yousee, Telmore, and Hiper, announced a significant financial loss of 562 million kroner for the year 2025, continuing its streak of deficits for the seventh year. This figure represents the largest loss Nuuday has experienced since its separation from the former TDC Group in 2019, highlighting the ongoing financial struggles of the company in a competitive telecommunications market.

Despite the substantial loss, Nuuday reported an increase in total revenue, which reached nearly 14.8 billion kroner, reflecting a growth of approximately 209 million kroner or 1.4% compared to the previous year. The operational result slightly improved to 1.5 billion kroner as well. However, this positive operational performance was overshadowed by higher depreciation and impairment costs that have adversely impacted Nuuday's financial stability, resulting in the considerable deficit figures.

The continued financial difficulties faced by Nuuday raise concerns about its long-term viability and competitiveness in the telecommunications sector, where market dynamics are continuously evolving. The financial report suggests that, while Nuuday is making progress in certain areas, addressing the underlying issues leading to recurring losses will be essential for its future growth and success.
