The Rotary Club of Warri, in a collaborative initiative with various stakeholders, organized a peace walk in Warri metropolis, Delta State, advocating for industrialization and youth employment. The event commenced at the Mother of the Redeemer Catholic Church and made its way through several local areas, concluding at Angle Park Junction, highlighting the importance of community mobilization in addressing local issues.

Led by Club president Rotarian Chris Iyowaye, the peace walk aimed to reinforce peacebuilding efforts within the culturally diverse ethnic communities in Warri and surrounding regions. The participation of prominent Rotarians and community stakeholders underscored the collective responsibility of the community in mitigating conflicts that can arise due to economic instability and unemployment, particularly among the youth.
