Senator Olubiyi Fadeyi from the Osun Central Senatorial District has announced the approval for a five-kilometre access road intended to enhance healthcare services and rural connectivity in his region. This initiative, revealed in a statement by his aide, Adekanola Desmond, marks a significant move towards improving infrastructure that has long hindered access to essential services.

A crucial part of this project will include a one-kilometre stretch that leads directly to the Federal University of Health Sciences Teaching Hospital, which plays a vital role in serving residents not only in Osun but also in surrounding states. The senator highlighted the struggles faced by the hospital due to poor road conditions, which have negatively impacted patients, healthcare workers, and local communities dependent on these services.

The rest of the road infrastructure will connect additional areas in the district, indicating a comprehensive effort to facilitate better transport routes and overall development.
