In February, the vehicle registration numbers for São José dos Campos and Taubaté showed a decline when compared to January, as reported by Brazil's National Federation of Motor Vehicle Distribution (Fenabrave). In January and February combined, 1,928 new vehicles were sold this year compared to 1,795 last year. In contrast, Taubaté showed a slight decrease of 0.39% for the same time frame, indicating a minor decline in its vehicle sales when the bimesters are compared.
