Starting Thursday, the returns located at kilometer 12 of BR-230 in Cabedelo, part of the Metropolitan Region of João Pessoa, will be deactivated as part of ongoing construction work on the highway. This change coincides with the area near a supermarket and aims to facilitate further construction activities. To mitigate the impacts of this change, new provisional returns will be activated under the viaduct currently being built at that same location.

The traffic changes are expected to lead to congestion, particularly during peak hours, as drivers adjust to the new traffic patterns. The intervention aims to aid in the ongoing improvements along the route but may disrupt regular traffic flow. Drivers are urged to remain vigilant when passing through the altered area to ensure safety.

Additionally, the Federal Highway Police (PRF) advise motorists to plan their trips in advance to avoid congestion, reduce speed, and maintain safe distances between vehicles. These recommendations aim to minimize the risk of accidents during this period of transition and development on the BR-230.
