Between March 1-3, Oman received seven aircraft specifically arranged for the evacuation of elite Russians, given that the country had not fully closed its airspace. The air traffic limitations only applied to the capital's airport, while Suchar Airport remained operational. Among the jets that landed in Suchar was a Dassault Falcon 900C linked to former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, suggesting the aircraft's significance in transporting high-profile individuals during turbulent times in Eastern Europe. The Ukrainian media has noted that Yanukovych has frequently utilized this specific plane, previously flying to Belarus during key negotiations between Russia and Ukraine in early 2022.
