Additionally, in response to reports of Russian citizens fleeing Iran, an Il-76 aircraft was sent from Zhukovsky Airport near Moscow to Azerbaijan to assist those seeking to return home. The Russian Embassy in Baku has confirmed the safe arrival of at least 39 Russians, highlighting the urgency and complexity of the evacuation efforts amidst ongoing tensions.
