This is an American and Israeli invasion war: Iranian ambassador to Japan claims damage to children and hospitals

The Iranian ambassador to Japan condemned recent U.S. and Israeli military actions in Iran, describing them as acts of war and terrorism, asserting that these assaults have caused significant civilian casualties.

In a press conference held at the Iranian embassy in Tokyo, the Iranian Ambassador to Japan, Seadat, condemned the recent military attacks by the U.S. and Israel, which were said to have resulted in the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei. He characterized these attacks as an invasion war against Iran, amidst ongoing nuclear negotiations, and labeled the actions as overt terrorism. The ambassador pointed out that just days before the attacks, diplomatic negotiations were active and a mutual agreement seemed possible, implying that these strikes were a direct violation of both diplomacy and international norms.

Seadat emphasized that Iran does not possess any nuclear weapons and asserted that there were no missile plans aimed at the U.S., viewing the attacks as unprovoked. He presented disturbing evidence of the attacks’ impact on civilians, showcasing images of destruction and highlighting the deaths of around 150 children and teachers from an attack on a girls’ school in Minab, as well as assaults on hospitals in Tehran. He lamented that these attacks were not initiated by Iran but were instead acts of aggression amounting to war crimes.

This statement not only seeks to galvanize international attention towards Iran’s situation but also attempts to frame the narrative around the conflict, placing Iran in the position of a victim rather than an aggressor. By portraying the military actions as crimes against humanity, the ambassador aims to evoke empathy and support for Iran, while further complicating the already tense geopolitical situation involving the U.S. and Israel.
