Iran War: People from Barabanki, Amethi, and Chanduali trapped in Gulf countries
Hundreds of citizens from several districts in Uttar Pradesh, India, are stranded in Gulf countries due to the ongoing war between Iran, Israel, and the U.S.
The ongoing war in the Middle East involving Iran, Israel, and the United States has stranded hundreds of citizens from various districts in Uttar Pradesh, including Chanduali, Ambedkarnagar, Jhansi, Barabanki, Aligarh, Siddharthnagar, Amethi, Unnao, and Banda. Many of these individuals had traveled to countries such as Iran, Israel, Dubai (UAE), Bahrain, and Kuwait for work, studies, business trips, or pre-wedding shoots, but find themselves unable to return home due to the cancellation of international flights caused by the conflict.
Families of those trapped are attempting to reach out through video calls, but in many areas, internet services have been disrupted, making communication nearly impossible. These affected families are urgently appealing to the Indian central government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for immediate intervention to ensure the safe return of all Indian nationals caught in the conflict. The dire situation is exacerbated by the uncertainty surrounding the war and its potential to escalate further.
Among those stuck is a couple from Chanduali who are caught in Dubai, preparing for a pre-wedding shoot before their marriage scheduled for April. Their predicament highlights the broader challenge faced by many families in India who are now anxiously waiting for news of their loved ones and relief efforts from the government as the situation in the Middle East continues to unfold with significant implications for citizens abroad.
