The Paulo Freire Popular Course (CPPF), organized by the Federal University of Vale do São Francisco (Univasf), has opened registration for its 2026 selection process. A total of 80 free vacancies are available, with specific allocations for each category of applicants: 36 for third-year students, 30 for recent high school graduates, 10 for former CPPF students, and 4 for younger students.

The program is specifically aimed at individuals who can demonstrate a family income per capita not exceeding one and a half minimum wages, which is approximately R$ 2,277.
