The Nilo Coelho Foundation has announced the opening of 150 spots in its professional qualification courses under the Universe Criativo program in Petrolina. The courses available include hairdressing, barbering, waxing, eyebrow design, sewing, fabric crafts, biscuit/leather crafts, fabric painting, and elderly care. These programs aim to enhance the job skills of local residents, providing them with better employment opportunities.

Registration for the courses will take place from Wednesday (25th) to Friday (27th), between 8 AM and 11 AM, at the foundation's headquarters located at Rua Aristarco Lopes, 330, Centro. Interested candidates must present identification (RG), tax ID (CPF), proof of residence, an updated CadÚnico registration, and evidence of completed primary education. Specific requirements for the elderly caregiver course include having completed secondary education, highlighting the diverse educational backdrop of candidates suited for these vocational training programs.

The classes are slated to be conducted in person, occurring two days a week at the foundation.
