New bill from Águas das Agulhas Negras starts being delivered to customers

Customers of Águas das Agulhas Negras are now receiving their water bills in a new format, which complies with the Tax Reform and enhances transparency without additional costs.

Customers of Águas das Agulhas Negras, a water supply company in Brazil, have begun to receive their water bills in a newly designed format. This change is part of the Tax Reform requirements aimed at improving transparency and organization of billing information. Importantly, this new billing format, referred to as Nota Fiscal Eletrônica de Água (NFAg), does not impose any extra costs on the customers.

The redesigned bill incorporates a color-coded system that simplifies the reading of essential information. Each color corresponds to different sections: blue indicates reading data and consumption details, orange signifies important notices and information, and green provides payment information. This user-friendly approach is designed to make it easier for customers to understand their bills at a glance.

Additionally, the new bill format includes two QR codes serving distinct purposes. One QR code, required by regulation, allows customers to quickly access the complete electronic invoice, while the second QR code facilitates payments via Pix, offering a speedy payment alternative for customers who prefer digital transactions. This initiative reflects the company's commitment to improved service and customer satisfaction.
