Águas do Imperador announces that the water bill model has been restructured in Petrópolis

The new water bill model in Petrópolis is now electronic and redesigned to enhance clarity for customers, complying with tax reform regulations without additional costs.

Águas do Imperador has announced a complete reformulation of the water bill model delivered to residents of Petrópolis, a city in the mountainous region of Rio de Janeiro. The new bills, which are now issued as Electronic Tax Invoices (Nota Fiscal Eletrônica de Água - NFAg), are designed to enhance transparency and organization of billing information. Customers have already started receiving their bills in this new format, which ensures compliance with the ongoing Tax Reform as mandated by the government.

The redesigned bills feature a color-coded layout that simplifies the reading process for customers. Key information is designated by specific colors: blue indicates usage data and consumption details, orange highlights important notifications and alerts, while green provides payment information. This restructuring aims to make the bill more user-friendly and accessible to the general public, aligning with modern billing practices.

Additionally, the new bills include two QR codes serving different purposes. The first is the obligatory QR code for the NFAg, which enables quick digital access to the complete invoice details. This initiative not only modernizes the billing process but also aims to improve customer satisfaction by making it easier for residents to manage their water consumption and payments effectively.
