Worker falls down 6-metre hole at Langley Events Centre construction site

A construction worker was rescued after falling into a six-metre hole at the Langley Events Centre construction site in Langley, B.C.

On Monday morning, a construction worker fell into a six-metre hole at the Langley Events Centre construction site in Langley, British Columbia. Emergency services, including the Langley RCMP and the Township of Langley Fire Department, were called to the incident, which occurred around 8:13 a.m. The BC Ambulance Service also responded to the scene to assist with the rescue operation.

A firefighter was sent down into the hole to help the stranded worker, who was later extracted and transported to the hospital in stable condition. Authorities, including Sgt. Zynal Sharoom of the Langley RCMP, stated that there is currently no indication of criminality surrounding the incident.
