Free castration: see locations, dates, and how to guarantee a password in Campo Grande
Mobile clinics in Campo Grande are offering free spaying and neutering services for pets, with a daily limited number of appointments available.
The mobile clinic of the Animal Welfare Superintendence (Subea) has resumed its free spaying and neutering services for dogs and cats in Campo Grande. These services are available from Monday to Friday, between 8 AM and 1 PM, with the distribution of 15 slots per day for castration and another 15 for clinical consultations, rabies vaccinations, and deworming, all provided on a first-come, first-served basis. This initiative aims to promote responsible pet ownership and reduce the population of stray animals in the region.
This week, services are offered at Cras Jardim Canguru, located at Rua dos Topógrafos, 1175. The schedule will then continue at various locations throughout March, moving to the Residents' Association of Vila Jacy from March 9 to 13, followed by the São João Calábria Parish between March 16 and 20, and concluding at the CEU das Artes in Parque do Lageado from March 23 to 27. Each of these locations aims to make access to these important health services easier for pet owners in different neighborhoods.
The program will finish its current schedule at the Residents' Association of Bairro Serraville from March 30 to April 2, providing another opportunity for residents to benefit from the services. The initiative reflects the city’s commitment to animal welfare and aims to address the issues of pet overpopulation, ultimately contributing to a healthier community for both pets and their owners.
