The Klaipeda police have recently modernized their fleet by introducing new reliable service vehicles that meet current safety standards. This upgrade is expected to allow officers to respond more quickly to incidents, provide assistance to residents more efficiently, and carry out their assigned duties effectively. A total of eight new vehicles have been designated for the Klaipeda city police department, with additional vehicles allocated to surrounding areas, including five for Plungės, and others for Skuodas, Kretinga, and Palanga, among others.

The new service vehicles are equipped with all the essential equipment necessary for smooth operations, thereby enhancing the capabilities of the police force. This update comes at a time when the demand for rapid response in law enforcement is paramount, especially in urban areas. The Chief Chaplain of the Klaipeda County Police Department, Father Antanas Budreckas, conducted a blessing ceremony for the new vehicles, emphasizing their importance in ensuring safe travel for police officers while on duty.
