New Party Survey: Six Parties in the Sejm, PSL Records Largest Increase

A recent survey shows that the Civic Coalition is gaining support in the Polish parliament while PSL has recorded the largest increase.

A new survey conducted by the Pollster Institute and published by "Super Express" reveals that the Civic Coalition (KO) continues to lead in public support with 34.25 percent of respondents backing them. This marks a slight increase from the previous poll’s 34.2 percent. On the other hand, the ruling Law and Justice party (PiS) saw a drop in support, falling from 29.88 percent to 28.45 percent, indicating a significant loss of 1.43 percentage points. This decline is the largest recorded among all the parties in this latest survey.

In terms of party rankings, the status of the other parties remains unchanged in this survey. Following Civic Coalition and Law and Justice, Konfederacja stands third with 11.06 percent of the votes, reflecting a modest increase of 0.91 percentage points. Meanwhile, Nowa Lewica has also gained support, rising by 0.32 percentage points from its previous standing to 7.69 percent currently. The fifth position is held by Konfederacja Korony Polskiej, while the last spot is taken by Grzegorz Braun’s party, which remains below the electoral threshold, indicating challenges they face in gaining traction.

The results of this survey could have significant implications as the political landscape in Poland continues to evolve. With the Civic Coalition expanding its lead over Law and Justice, the dynamics between the leading parties may shift, especially with PSL's notable rise. Political observers will be watching closely how these trends develop as the next election approaches, potentially reshaping Poland's parliamentary representation and alliances among parties.
