The Caps II center in Mogi das Cruzes is relocating to a new address in Brás Cubas as part of a restructuring of mental health services.
Caps II, the Psychosocial Care Center in Mogi das Cruzes, is set to relocate its services to a new address in Brás Cubas, effective Monday, the 2nd. Previously located in Rodeio, the center's new address is Avenida Valentina de Mello Freire Borenstein, 764, directly in front of Parque Leon Feffer.
The relocation is part of the city’s efforts to restructure mental health services to better serve the community. The Mogi das Cruzes City Hall has ensured that all patients currently under the care of the unit have been informed about the change in location, emphasizing the continuity of service as they transition to the new site.
In 2025, the Caps facilities in the municipality provided care to over 6,500 patients, highlighting the importance of these centers in the mental health treatment network. This move aims to enhance accessibility and improve the overall quality of care for mental health in the region.
