At the 107th anniversary of the March 1st Movement held at the Gyeonggi Arts Center, Kim Dong-yeon, the Governor of Gyeonggi Province, spoke passionately about the significance of the event, marking it as the first celebration following the establishment of a government that emerged victorious over insurrection. He highlighted the recent cancellation of a commemorative concert that was planned to be led by Jeon Han-gil, stating that Gyeonggi Province would not accept any behavior that glorifies insurrection or desecrates the values enshrined in the Constitution related to the spirit of the March 1st Movement.
