In a gripping semifinal match of the Baltic League, the Tartu Ülikool/Bigbank volleyball club found themselves in a tough position against RSU. After quickly falling behind to a 0-2 deficit, with the first set lost 25-6 and the second 25-14, they showed remarkable resilience. The team began to find their rhythm in the third set, rallying from an 18-20 deficit to win 25-22, which sparked a turnaround in their performance.

The decisive moment came in the fourth set where TÜ/Bigbank started with an impressive lead, scoring ten consecutive points. Although RSU managed to narrow the gap towards the end of the set, TÜ/Bigbank held strong and finished the set with a 25-20 victory, pushing the match into a final fifth set. In this final set, the teams were neck and neck until TÜ/Bigbank gained momentum, winning four consecutive points from a 7-7 tie, ultimately securing the match with a score of 15-10.
