TÜ/Bigbank reached the semifinals in the Baltic League

Tartu Ülikool/Bigbank has secured a spot in the semifinals of the Baltic women's volleyball league after a decisive win.

The Tartu Ülikool/Bigbank women's volleyball team clinched their place in the semifinals of the Baltic League following a dramatic victory in their final quarterfinal match. After winning the first match of the quarterfinals against Riga Volleyball School/LU 3-2, they faced a setback in the second match with a 0-3 loss, resulting in a decisive third match. In a closely contested final game, Tartu lost the first set 19-25 but bounced back to win the second set 25-22, breaking the resistance of their Latvian opponents in the subsequent sets, where they dominated by allowing only 19 and 17 points respectively.

In this crucial match, key players such as Kairin Tammel and Nora Lember made significant contributions, each scoring 16 points. Tammel effectively utilized her 26 attempts, while Lember's performance included 12 attacking points along with two blocks and two service points.
