The State University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UEMS) has opened registrations for a free preparatory course for Brazil's National High School Exam (Enem) and entrance examinations, aimed at high school students.

The State University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UEMS) has announced that it is accepting registrations for the 2026 Cursinho UEMS, which offers free preparatory classes for the National High School Exam (Enem) and various entrance examinations. This initiative is specifically aimed at students who are currently finishing or have already completed their third year of high school. Registrations will remain open until March 9, 2026, with classes scheduled to commence on March 17, 2026, and participation will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis.

The course will provide both online and in-person classes in different locations. The online format will offer 100 slots for semi-extensive tutoring that covers subjects such as Portuguese, Geography, Biology, Writing, Mathematics, Physics, and English, with classes taking place on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 7 PM to 9:40 PM until July 9, 2026. Concurrently, there will be a face-to-face format available in Nova Andradina, offering 50 slots, reporting to the School Marechal Rondon, with classes held similarly on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 PM to 9:40 PM until September 17, 2026.

This program demonstrates UEMS's commitment to supporting high school students in their educational journey and preparing them for the crucial exams that will determine their future educational paths. By offering free resources and professional guidance through scholarships and peer monitors, UEMS aims to enhance accessibility to education for all, particularly for those who may face financial barriers. It stands as an essential opportunity for students in the region to improve their academic qualifications and better prepare for their post-secondary education.
