The Leonel Brizola Bridge, commonly referred to as the Mocambinho Bridge, will undergo maintenance that will alter traffic flow in the Zona Norte region of Teresina. This operation is scheduled from February 28 to March 3, 2026, and has been announced by the Municipal Superintendence of Transport and Traffic of Teresina (Strans). The maintenance work will be carried out by the Department of Highways of Piauí (DER) with the assistance of the municipal organ to ensure safe transportation during this period.

Strans has provided a detailed schedule for the traffic alterations, which includes periods of both reduced flow and complete road closures. On Saturday, February 28, there will be reduced traffic from 6 AM to 1 PM, followed by a total closure from 1 PM to 6 PM. On Sunday, March 1, the bridge will be completely closed from 6 AM to 6 PM, while on Monday, March 2, and Tuesday, March 3, reduced traffic conditions will be in effect from 6 AM to 6 PM.
