Nigeria, Cameroon sign agreement to improve air safety

Nigeria and Cameroon have taken a significant step towards improving air safety by signing a Bilateral Agreement on Technical Aeronautical Search and Rescue Operations in Yaoundé, the capital of Cameroon. This agreement was finalized after discussions between Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, and the Cameroonian Minister of Transport, Jean Ernest NgalNgallé Bibehe. The signing took place in the context of ongoing efforts by both nations to enhance aviation safety standards in their shared airspace.
