At least 4 killed, 25 injured in Russian attacks against Ukraine over past day

Russian attacks in Ukraine resulted in at least four deaths and 25 injuries within a day, according to local authorities.

In a series of devastating attacks on February 28, Russian missile and drone strikes in Ukraine led to the tragic deaths of four individuals and left 25 others injured. The Ukrainian Air Force reported the use of an Iskander-M ballistic missile along with 105 drones, including around 60 Shahed drones. Remarkably, Ukrainian defenses managed to intercept and down 96 of these aerial threats across various regions of the country.

The most severe impacts were felt in northeastern Sumy Oblast, where local authorities confirmed that four people lost their lives due to Russian bombardment. Among the deceased were two men, ages 21 and 31, and two women, aged 67 and 72.
