The Public Security Secretariat of Paraná (Sesp) has entered into a substantial contract worth R$ 438 million with the Companhia de Tecnologia da Informação e Comunicação do Paraná (Celepar) amidst a controversial privatization process of the latter. The contract, which will be active for a period of five years, was signed on February 5th, with the government releasing the privatization auction notice the following day, slated for March 17th on the São Paulo Stock Exchange, B3.
