The footage revealed the boy, who was observed on the southern edge of platform number one at Bhestan station shortly after the incident. He was approached by police officers, including ASI Ravi Kumar and Head Constable Joginder, who stopped him for questioning. During their inquiry, the boy admitted to throwing the stone as a form of play but fled the scene afterward. His father was called to the station following this incident, and further questioning included the presence of two witnesses.
