ChocoPáscoa Gramado will feature over a hundred free attractions and is expected to draw more than 700,000 visitors between March 12 and April 12, 2026.

Preparations for ChocoPáscoa Gramado are underway, with a revitalized event planning 30 days of free programming from March 12 to April 12, 2026. The city is preparing for a surge of over 700,000 visitors who will enjoy streets adorned with decorations and a diverse offering of more than a hundred artistic and cultural attractions. The agenda will include playful and religious activities across various city locations, featuring parades, theatrical performances, musical shows, and immersive experiences for audiences of all ages.

The ChocoPáscoa event is expected to enhance tourist activity in local restaurants and hotels while boosting the sales of artisanal chocolates in the region. Notably, the Association of Chocolate Makers of Gramado (Achoco) reports an increase in production from 700 tons in 2025 to 840 tons in 2026, reflecting a 20% growth. This rise in production underscores Gramado's significance in the chocolate industry, as the town boasts 28 factories and provides employment for over 3,000 people directly or indirectly in the sector.

As the National Capital of Artisan Chocolate, Gramado's contribution to both tourism and the local economy is profound. The ChocoPáscoa event not only celebrates chocolate but also promotes cultural engagement and community involvement, making it a highlight of the year for the city and its residents, as well as a major attraction for visitors.
