In Cuiabá, Brazil, the Military Police seized more than 100 basic food baskets from an abandoned house in the São Mateus neighborhood after responding to reports of an assault and robbery against a young man. The police arrived at the scene on the night of Thursday, October 26, following a claim from the victim who described being attacked by a group of seven men and one woman while he was outside his residence. The group not only assaulted him but also stole his cell phone and subsequently, $17,200 in cash.
